Ingredients for Indian Cauliflower Rice
- ⅓ cup of Ghee
- 2 cloves of Garlic, finely chopped
- ½ inch knob of Ginger, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon of Coriander Seeds
- ½ teaspoon of Cumin Seeds
- ½ teaspoon of Brown Mustard Seeds
- ½ teaspoon of Yellow Mustard Seeds
- ½ teaspoon of Turmeric, ground
- 26 ounces (1 head) of Cauliflower, processed into rice
- 1-2 teaspoons of Salt
- ½ teaspoon of Pepper
- 2 tablespoons of Cilantro, chopped
How To Make Indian Cauliflower Rice
Learning how to make this Indian cauliflower rice recipe is easy just carefully follow the methods below and you’ll have a new favorite side dish.
- Place the ghee into a large non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the garlic and ginger and saute on the stove until fragrant.
- Add the whole spices and saute for 3-5 minutes, until making “popping” noises.
- Add half of the cauliflower rice and gently mix it into the spices and ghee. Saute for another 3 minutes before adding the remaining cauliflower rice.
- Add the pepper and salt to taste.
- Continue to stir the cauliflower rice while cooking for another 8-10 minutes, until softened and cooked through.
- Remove the frying pan from the heat and mix through the cilantro.
- Serve and enjoy.

I haven’t made this recipe but I plan to as soon as I purchase the brown and yellow mustard seeds. This recipe sounds truly awesome and flavorful. I eat keto and am looking for great accompaniment to my meals and am trying Indian inspired recipes (one of my absolute favorites). Once I make it, I will post it on Instagram!Reply
