Thomas Jacobs is hoping wife Becca Kufrin will accept hislatest proposal.

Though the two have been legally married since their October 2023 courthouse vows, "We do still want to have a wedding eventually, with all of our friends and family involved," the former Bachelorette acknowledged in an exclusive interview with E! News, "it's just we haven't had time to sit down and actually plan that yet."

Or at least plan it again.

Because the couple—who connected during the seventh season of Bachelor in Paradise in 2021—had actually begun their journey to the altar when they encountered a dramatic twist.

Months after the real estate broker, 32, answered Becca's May 2022 proposal with one of his own, the San Diego-based duo revealed they were expecting now-9-month-old son Benny "and then obviously had to backtrack," Becca explained of the original nuptials.

She had told E! at the time they intended to "keep it very small, very intimate," possibly an elopement in nearby Ojai, but now, said the former publicist, "Thomas is envisioning something different and bigger."

And potentially his younger brother or sister.

The couplewere barely home from the hospital when Thomasasked if he could steal his bride for a sec.

"Thomas wanted another baby the second we brought Benny home," admitted the Minnesota native. "And I was like, 'First of all, buddy, let me heal.' And, also, I just wanted to enjoy Benny and see these different phases that he's going through right now."

As someone with a sister who's two-and-a-half years older, "I also didn't want kids in the same grade," the 34-year-old added. "I want them to kind of be scattered. They'll have sports at different times and go through life changes at different times. So we're thinking maybe two or three years, but no hard and set plans yet."

Because there are absolutely times when she feels a touch of the baby fever.

"Everyone warns you when you're pregnant and when you have this newborn, they say, time flies," she acknowledged. "And Thomas and I wake up every morning and we're like, 'How do we have a 9-month-old baby? How are we parents to this little, tiny human that will soon be walking?' It blows my mind."

Take his latest party trick.

Impressed with the cleaning capabilities of Pampers Free & Gentle wipes (with a textured grip they've been "just game-changing for us to clean up all of the messes between the poop, the food and all of the spills," noted Becca), she taught Benny how to wipe up after mealtime.

"He knows how to pull them out, and so we'll show him how we wipe it down," she described. "He also, like any baby, loves to rip things. And so the fact that these ones are so strong and don't tear are also fun for him. So we're not only cleaning, but we're learning while we're at it."

So, yes, they're pretty much crushing the parenting game.

With Becca handling input and Thomas on output, everything is "very evenly balanced," she noted of her husband taking the lead on diaper duty.

And getting to watch Thomas live out his parenting dreams has been "so fun," she continued, "and honestly, it gets better as Benny gets older too. Because now Benny can be so much more interactive and do so much more with Thomas, which has been fun to see them just be goofy and silly together."
