Itinerary

• Frankfurt...transfer from the airport andboardSpirit of the Rhinehere.You'll stay overnight onboard in Frankfurt, and willsee the striking contrast of the modern city centre and historic square ofRömerbergon a guided tour the next day.
• Rüdesheim...wind your way through the narrow street of Drosselgasse, which is lined with traditional wine taverns.
• Koblenz...dock here overnight, with free time to explore in the morning. Visit the point where the rivers meet (Deutsches Eck), or ride the cable car across the water. The next day, cruise through the Middle Rhine, which is home to roughly 40 hilltop castles and fortresses.
• Königswinter...apicturesque town nestled on the river banks, overlooked by the ancient castle ruins of Drachenfels.
• Bonn...the birthplace of famous composer, Beethoven—visit the monument,Romanesque Minster Cathedral, and the University of Bonnon your coach tour of the city.
• Cologne...see city highlights on a walking tour that takes you to the Cologne Cathedral, and to see the characteristic buildings of the Medieval old town.
• Düsseldorf... disembarkhere ahead of your flight home.

Ship details
Spirit of the Rhineis a 5-star river ship, with sleek decor and pastel tones throughout.

The main restaurant, Panorama, serves four or five courses during some evening meals. A selection of complimentary non-branded wine, beer, and soft drinks are available with lunch and dinner. The speciality dining restaurant Rheinfels is also included. Passengers can help themselves to sandwiches and cakes in the afternoon, and look forward to a weekly high tea.

There's a large sun deck with a splash pool and plenty of sun loungers, as well as an area for deck games. You'll also be able to order drinks to your deck chair. Relax in the library lounge, or head to the gym for a workout.
